Our parks are a great place to exercise, enjoy the fresh air, meet interesting people, have a laugh and learn something new. Who ever said physical activity is all work and no play? There is no need to think of strenuous workouts that are painful and boring. |

All activities in the Active and Healthy GC regular program are designed to help residents make the most of our beautiful parks and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle. There are over 150 free or low cost activities running weekly in parks across the city and the program caters for all ages, interests and abilities
Friendly and qualified instructors run all activities and everyone is welcome. It is a good idea to bring a water bottle and towel to most sessions, and if outdoors make sure to wear sunscreen and a hat.
| Sunday in the Park Program Get your family and friends together for fresh sounds and great fun. Featuring music from emerging artists and all the classics - chill out and spend your 'Sunday in the Park'. Held in various parks across the city each Sunday, it is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and relax with family and friends. Bring a picnic and settle in for an afternoon of cool tunes. A range of free family fun activities will be provided at the parks on various occasions.
